Risk Disclosure
Safe Growth is not an unleveraged book: it holds TMF (3x long Treasuries) and NUGT (2x gold miners). Leveraged ETFs reset daily and can lose value over time even when the underlying index is flat or higher. MSTR carries leverage and direct bitcoin exposure. This is our model book, shared for transparency — it is not individualized investment advice, and position sizing reflects our risk tolerance, not yours. Every performance figure on this page is an actual, live result measured from the Jan 22, 2026 entry. Apr–Jun monthly cells are as-published marks; a close-basis restatement is pending the anchor review. Our published daily archive begins 15 April 2026; Jan–Mar 2026 monthly cells are estimated partial-period returns (marked *) carried from our May 2026 updates, shown as estimates rather than as-published daily marks. We show no backtested or hypothetical returns. Units are price-return; dividends are not accrued. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Data claims are dated as of publication.
Safe Growth is essentially flat this morning, down a hair to $1,726 a unit, because the weekend headline changed from escalation to stand-down but the opening tape is still rotational. Oil dropped hard after the U.S. and Iran paused strikes, and the 10-year yield eased toward 4.65%. That is enough to cool the panic bid, but not enough to call an all-clear.
The important distinction is crude versus gasoline. WTI fell roughly 7% on the day to the mid-$80s, but AAA still shows national regular gasoline around $4.11, up from $4.00 a week ago and $3.15 a year ago. That matters for inflation, consumer psychology, and the midterm narrative: markets may trade the relief first, but voters will not feel relief until pump prices actually follow.
Inside the book, MSTR and NUGT are doing the most visible work, while PPA, URA, EWW, INDA, and TMF are also positive. ETN and NVDA are softer, and XLE is giving back some war premium as crude falls. That mix is exactly what we would expect from a relief tape: less oil panic, lower yields, better appetite for beta, but still enough geopolitical risk to keep defense and energy-security exposure relevant.
The next test is Wednesday. The Fed meets July 28-29 and the likely outcome is still a hold, not a cut. Oil relief reduces the inflation scare, but sticky gasoline and product markets keep the Fed from declaring victory. No trades. Safe Growth stays diversified: own the relief through infrastructure, AI, international, metals, and bonds, while not pretending one weekend stand-down solved the whole inflation problem.
