High Risk is marked at $1,432 on the current whole-share model, +2.6% versus Thursday's published update. August MTD is +13.9% and 2026 YTD is -12.5% on the performance chain. The “Bessent put” is the story of the week: Treasury Secretary Bessent said Thursday the doubled long-bond buyback program could grow further and would “become routine,” and markets are now trading Treasury intervention as a standing backstop. The result is a historic crypto meltup — bitcoin up roughly 20-24% since Monday, its best week since March 2024, on more than $3 billion in liquidated shorts — that's landing squarely on this book's largest position.
MSTR (+7.2%) leads the book today. MSTR, now roughly 33% of the book, is riding that meltup directly. But this rally is concentrated in crypto and gold, not broad tech: capital-intensive AI/tech names stayed pressured Thursday after a weak Walmart sales miss, and the 30-year yield backed up to ~5.25% this morning, nearly erasing Wednesday's decline.
NBIS (+2.8%) and BE (+0.6%) are both stabilizing today after this week's AI-infrastructure pullback, with no distinct confirmed catalyst for the move either way. SOXL (-0.1%) and TQQQ (-0.7%) are roughly flat, tracking the broader tepid-tech tape rather than the crypto story.
Bottom line: no portfolio change before this update. HR is up +2.6% today, led by MSTR at +7.2% — a reminder that a book this concentrated in one bitcoin-linked position will swing hard on crypto-specific news, for better or worse, regardless of what the rest of the book is doing.

Risk Disclosure
High Risk holds leveraged and crypto-linked positions: SOXL (3x semiconductors) and TQQQ (3x Nasdaq-100) reset daily and can lose value over time even when the underlying index is flat or higher — they can lose value fast. MSTR carries leverage and direct bitcoin exposure.
