High Risk fell 3.4% today to $896 a unit, measured open to open against Friday's update. That widens the July loss to 10.7% and leaves the book about 12.0% below our January 22 entry. Risk came off the highest-torque corners of the market, and this book, built entirely from them, took the brunt in a broad selloff.
The damage was wide. MRVL dropped 6.3% and MSTR fell 6.0% with softer bitcoin, while IONQ slid 4.4%, BMNR gave back 3.3%, OKLO eased 2.7%, UEC 2.2% and RKLB 2.1%. VST was the lone anchor, essentially flat, with PLTR off a modest 1.1%. Chips, crypto, quantum and nuclear sold together, which is what a risk-off day does to this slate.
No changes. High Risk is the aggressive book by design and it moves hardest in both directions. The spread across power, nuclear, crypto, AI, space and quantum is what carries it over time, but on days when risk comes off across the board there is nowhere to hide, and today VST alone held the line. Nothing today changed the multi-year thesis. Holding the full slate.
